Investigating Adsorption-Based Atmospheric Water Harvesting Potential for Pakistan

Atmospheric water harvesting (AWH) can provide clean and safe drinking in remote areas. The present study provides a comprehensive review of adsorption-based AWH by using the scientometric approach. publication types are mainly composed articles reviews, accounting for 75.37% 11.19% total, respectively. Among these publications, ~95.1% were published English came from 154 different journals which demonstrates that researchers have shown great interest this field. However, much less contribution has been received thus far on topic Pakistan. Therefore, aims to explore solar-driven system terms varying relative humidity (RH), solar irradiance, various adsorbent materials. Geospatial mapping Monte Carlo simulations carried out integrate operational parameters materials with Pakistan’s climatic conditions forecast potential (L/m2/d). Probability distribution 100,000 trials is performed providing lower, mode, upper values independent parameters. possible outcomes adsorbed volume determined generating random within their specified distribution. It was found MIL-101 (Cr) achieved highest water-harvesting rate (WHR) 0.64 3.14 (L/m2/d) across Pakistan, whereas WHR lowered 0.58 1.59, 0.83 0.94, 0.45 1.26 COF-432, zeolite, silica gel, Furthermore, parameter optimization sensitivity analysis finalize boundary ensuring maximum desired specification limits (1–4 L/m2/d).
